Hold On To The Future 

BDCA worked with Community Albums to produce a music video taking a participatory approach working with a committed group of local people to write, sing, play instruments and dance. All the workshops were intergenerational with age range covering 10 – 60+ years. This approach added a richness and depth to the work, enabling participants to share not just their experiences, but how they felt, adding texture and nuance to our findings 

 

Community Albums is an organisation working to devise and deliver bespoke projects and programmes for those wanting to use music and media to develop people and give communities a voice. During lockdown 2 + 3, the Community Albums team set out to produce a song involving all generations to support and uplift morale.
